CBPA Reporting
CBPA reporting to OSPI for the 2009-2010 school year is again required via the iGrants reporting system. Last year we had nearly 100% of the ESD 105 districts reporting arts information to OSPI with only a couple of districts not reporting. The January 10, 2010 memorandum on CBPA reporting is available here: http://k12.wa.us/bulletinsmemos/memos2010/M007-10.doc .
The way it works:
1. You assess and score your students using the state CBPAs, “At least one CBPA in each of the arts disciplines they are studying (dance, music, theater, visual arts) by the end of 5th, 8th or 10th grade.”
Revised CBPAs: http://k12.wa.us/Arts/CBPAs/default.aspx, All CBPAs: http://k12.wa.us/Arts/CBPAs/CBPA2003-06.aspx
2. Fill out the iGrants teacher worksheets, Elementary - http://k12.wa.us/Arts/pubdocs/ArtsElemTeacherWorksheet.doc, Middle School - http://k12.wa.us/Arts/pubdocs/ArtsMiddleSchTeacherWorksheet.doc, High School - http://k12.wa.us/Arts/pubdocs/ArtsHighSchTeacherWorksheet.doc
3. Submit the worksheet information to your principal and/or district iGrants manager who will enter your district information by July 31, 2010.
