Teachers and regional composers, thank you for visiting ArtFusion Opus, the Educational Service District 105's (ESD 105) site for student publishing of their AVID Sibelius compositions. This site is designed with the purpose of having students  publish  their music compositions online and have regional composers review and comment on their pieces in order to assist them in completing their final piece.

Using This Site
This site is best viewed/utilized using the Firefox web browser (available here). You will also need to download and install the Sibelius Scorch plugin (available here) to view student compositions.

To Access Student Compositions
Only participating teachers and composition mentors have access to view student compositions. If you do not have an account and would like to be a contributing composer or post student work as a teacher, contact Aurelio Garcia at aurelio.garcia@esd105.org to request a participant user account. A username and password will be sent to you upon review of your request.

Participating Composers
Regional music teachers have uploaded student compositions to the site and you have been assigned a student or two to assist with their composition. To review and comment on their work you will need to login using the login link in the right-hand margin. Once you are logged-in, click on the Teacher's name and student number in the Student Listing menu item in the right-hand margin. The link format is: Teacher and student #. Once at their page you will see the most recent posts and compositions listed first with a link to listen to the Sibelius Scorch file.
After you have reviewed a students composition and would like to comment, click on the "Comment" link near the bottom of the most recent post to leave your suggestions.  Enter your thoughts on how the student can improve the composition as described in the Mentor Participation Agreement you signed. The student, via the teacher, will receive your comments and provide a newer iteration of the composition for you to review at a later date.
